ACLU Corporate Event

April 25, 2014 by icehouse Leave a Comment

The ACLU corporate event was hosted int he Main Hall, utilizing all of our event space. After cocktails, their guests headed up to the Mezzanine balcony to enjoyed a delicious seated dinner. Our Mezzanine is the ideal location for an intimate dinner with close business colleagues.

Our wonderful Crushed Ice Events chefs prepared an amazing seated dinner for 80 people. Our capacity for a full seated dinner in our Mezzanine space is 80 guests.

Many enjoyed the guest’s favorite parmesan crusted chicken with baby roots vegetables and parmesan grits. While many of our vegetarians enjoyed the southwestern quinoa stuffed bell pepper. Our chefs at Crushed Ice Events always prepare vegetarian dishes for a seated dinner option. We always like to know ahead of time, what are the allergy restrictions and dinner preferences of your guests, however if we are told during the dinner we need another vegetarian option we are always prepared!

Additional Amenities

February 25, 2014 by icehouse Leave a Comment

The Ice House has a variety of in-house event decor included in your rental that can enhance the feel and look of your event. No matter what color scheme your are trying to incorporate into your theme we have the ideal event elements to create the total package. We also have many additional amenities for rental.

Your event tables and chairs are included with your Ice House rental. We have an inventory of 350 chameleon chairs and 300 white folding chairs, which are both included with your rental. Our set of lounging furniture can be rolled out on the East Terrace to create a relaxed outside environment, located right off of the Main Hall.

What’s extra? At the Ice House we offer an abundance of those little event additional amenities. Our most popular being the LED colored up-lighting package, and below you can see why! Our up-lighting package includes 15 multi-color LED fixtures, 6 puck lights, lighting behind our bar, a fiber-optic bar top and our East Terrace market lights. The lighting adds the perfect amount of color to our cream colored brick walls and these can be customized to match any of your event colors.

The question that is on everyone’s mind, what’s a GOBO? Customize your monogram and add the date of your wedding to throw up on our exposed brick walls in the venue. These look great over the bar as well! If you are hosting a corporate function or a fundraiser, you can add your sponsor’s logos up on the wall for company exposure.

Our 20×20 Black Dance Floor is the ideal additive for your wedding, corporate celebration or prom. This dance floor could also be customized for smaller event gatherings and made into a 16×16 dance floor.

Winter Louisville Wedding

February 18, 2014 by icehouse Leave a Comment

We were so excited to kick 2014’s wedding season off with a beautiful Louisville Winter Wedding.

The Bride and Groom said their vows on February 15, 2014, on our second floor Mezzanine, decorated with icy blue mason jars and tall glass cylinder vases provided by In Bloom Again. In Bloom Again also provided the Bride’s linens and floral arrangements, which were absolutely breathtaking! We loved her personalized table toppers labeled with a specific location that had a significant meaning to the couple.

Homemade Pie and Ice Cream Kitchen provided the 4 tiered floral decorated cake. The cake matched perfectly with the theme of the wedding. The color scheme was a classic white, ivory, with blue accents both light and navy.

The Bride opted for a mix of our square and round Ice House tables, provided with her rental, to accommodate for her 160 guests.

Stations were the menu of choice including a Salad Station, our client favorite The Bluegrass Station and a dessert station. Our chef attended Bananas Foster station was a huge success and the Groom’s favorite dessert.
