The planning process can be extremely overwhelming, especially if you are that super bride who is doing it all on her own. At the Ice House we can help with any wedding request for no extra charge to our brides, but sometimes it’s just good to have a solid plan of attack. Here is a great wedding checklist to help you plan your wedding!
12 Month Wedding Checklist
Begin your guest list, and decide the number of guests for your wedding
Decide on a date and ask your bridal party to be a part of your big day!
Book venue, sign contract and submit the deposit
Find an officiate
Narrow down caterers and schedule tastings
Finalize caterer, sign contract and submit the deposit
Choose color scheme for wedding
Set up appointments with florists, DJs or musicians and photographers
Begin looking for that perfect dress!
Submit deposits for all of your vendors
Begin looking for honeymoon destinations
Begin looking at bridesmaids/groomsmen dresses and tuxedos
Make sure if traveling out of the country your passport in in order
Make schedule for paying off the rest of the wedding fees
Schedule tastings with bakers for your cake
Have you found the perfect dress? Place order.
Order bridesmaids/groomsmen attire
Order invitations and thank you correspondence
Book rehearsal dinner
Book honeymoon vacation and hotel rooms
Decide on favors for your bridesmaids and groomsmen
Order any additional rentals ex. Linens or centerpieces
Begin addressing all of your wedding correspondence
Select wedding bands
Schedule all hair, make-up and nail appointments
Confirm all travel details
Pick up gown, purchase accessories
Contact caterer and venue to confirm wedding details and floor plan
Begin creating your wedding playlist, with DJ or band
Purchase all reception décor
Give venue entire list of vendors expected to make drop offs at your wedding
Get marriage license
Pick up wedding bands
